When Animsay Writes
A pseudonym is usually a false or fictitious name, especially one used by an author.
When an author uses a pseudonym, it can also be called a pen name or a nom de plume. In fact, the word pseudonym can refer to a fake or false name used by anyone, not just writers. It's typically used so a person can remain anonymous.
In my case, I use the name Animsay, not to remain anonymous, be fake or present falsehood, but rather, I use a ''nom de plume'' to go beyond who I am, to express what I can't utter, to explore ideas, emotions and perspectives, to reflect on new possibilities, to reimagine scenarios, to more importantly, become a better me.
Animsay is my name written in reverse. My name Yasmina, created from the word Jasmine which has origins in Persian and Arabic traditions. Jasmine, a white, yellow, and rarely, but sometimes pink flower. The jasmine flowers are tubular with a flaring, lobed, pinwheel-like form. The leaves can be evergreen or deciduous and usually are composed of two or more leaflets, although some species have simple leaves.
My Yasmina flower version, is sometimes white with simple leaves, other times yellow with flush evergreen leaves and on amazing days, she is roaring with pink passion, with unstoppable aromas gracing your face.
Animsay, allows Yasmina to explore every facet of herself, simple, complex and bold.
When Animsay writes, Yasmina dances, loves, shares, heals, grows, and proclaims victory, even over her darkest droughts.
When Animsay writes, everything is possible.
When Animsay writes, I Am Possible.
